Which lath weight do I need?
2.5 lbs/yd² is the general vertical-work standard; 3.4 lbs/yd² for ceilings, soffits and anywhere codes demand the heavier sheet; 1.75 lbs/yd² for light patch and curved decorative work.
Metal lath or stucco netting?
Diamond lath is stiffer and faster to plaster flat; woven stucco netting is cheaper and follows irregular surfaces. Many crews run lath on flat framed walls and netting on curved or masonry sections — we manufacture both.
