Screening mesh from 2 to 60 mesh, five finish options
Square woven wire mesh is plain-woven screening cloth counted in mesh per inch. Leeter weaves 2×2 through 60×60 mesh in wire from 0.16 to 1.65mm, in galvanized (before/after weaving), enamelled, PVC-coated and stainless finishes — rolls 0.3–1.5m wide by 25m or 30m.

How is square wire mesh specified?
By mesh count (openings per inch), wire diameter and roll size — e.g. 8×8 mesh × 0.55mm × 0.9m × 30m. Higher counts give finer openings; heavier wire in the same count gives a stronger cloth with a smaller clear opening.
Square woven mesh or welded mesh — which do I need?
Woven square mesh covers fine counts (2–60 per inch) for screening and sieving that welding cannot reach. Welded mesh starts around 1/4" openings and gives a stiffer panel for cages and reinforcement — see our welded wire mesh range.
