12GA galvanized suspension wire, cut to length in bundles
Hanger wire is galvanized carbon-steel wire cut to fixed lengths and used to suspend acoustic ceilings, ductwork and services from a structural deck. Leeter manufactures 12-gauge galvanized hanger wire per ASTM A641 in standard 4–20 ft lengths, bundled 100 pieces per bundle and 20 bundles per master bundle, with crate packing and custom lengths available.

What gauge hanger wire is used for suspended ceilings?
12-gauge galvanized wire is the standard for suspended acoustic and drywall ceilings. Heavier 8- or 9-gauge wire is used for larger tributary loads; the wire should be galvanized per ASTM A641 and spaced per ASTM C754.
What lengths of hanger wire do you supply?
We cut hanger wire to 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20 ft as standard, bundled 100 pieces per bundle. Any custom length is available — send us your take-off and we will cut and bundle to match.
