Color-coated wire over black annealed or galvanized core
PVC coated wire is steel wire jacketed in plastic for corrosion resistance and a clean colored finish. Leeter extrudes PVC over black annealed, electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized core wire in six standard core/outer combinations from 0.80/1.20mm to 3.00/4.00mm, plus retail small coils.

What core wire should I choose under the PVC?
Black annealed core is the economical choice where the jacket stays intact. A galvanized core adds a second corrosion barrier so cut ends and jacket nicks do not become rust points — worth it for permanent outdoor runs.
Can you match a specific PVC color?
Dark green is our stocked standard. Other colors are produced to order against a RAL reference with a modest minimum per size.
